Description
The VENERATE ROAD 2.0 Carbon Cycling Shoes in black represent an outstanding fusion of advanced technology, comfort and performance for serious cyclists. We're proud to introduce the world's first carbon fiber closure system in collaboration with Atop. By combining an aluminum bezel with a cover made of real carbon, we've developed an extremely high-quality, robust, yet lightweight closure system that can be tightened or loosened in seconds. Effortlessly operate it with one hand while riding, ensuring a secure and tight fit.
Taking performance to the next level, our pro riders spent over a year testing the ROAD 2.0 in the most grueling conditions, including the prestigious Tour de France. Our much-loved 360° Carbon shell, crafted from the finest Japanese carbon, offers exceptional stiffness and support for maximum power transfer and an unbeatable connection to your bike. Retaining our standout heat moldable custom fit feature, which allows you to tailor the 360° carbon shell to your foot's unique needs using your home oven, we've added a new dynamic tongue lock feature as part of our improved fit. This innovation further secures and supports your foot while enhancing overall comfort.
The lightweight and durable upper material seamlessly blends performance and comfort. Soft microfiber in the heel ensures a snug, non-slip fit, while the improved dual vent system with extra ventilation in the carbon shell guarantees optimal temperature regulation, even during the hottest rides. Our 3-hole cleat mount has been precisely placed in accordance with the latest bike fitting approaches, allowing compatibility with the most popular pedal systems such as Shimano SPD-SL, Look, Time and Speedplay.

FAQ
How does the heat molding process work?
Recognising that no two feet are exactly the same, we have integrated thermo sheets between the carbon layers to allow for quick and easy adjustments at home, resulting in a perfect fit and optimal support. By heat molding your VENERATE cycling shoes for 12 minutes at 80°C in your own oven, you can effectively eliminate heel slippage and ensure highest comfort - it's a fast and effective solution for achieving the perfect fit in your cycling shoes.
Where can I adjust the carbon shell?
You can adjust the rear half of the carbon shell of your VENERATE cycling shoes, focusing on a snug fit around the ankle and heel for optimal support. This design choice allows us to leave more space in the forefoot area to maintain the natural shape of the toes, improving comfort without compressing the toes. The heat molding process doesn't affect the footbed or forefoot, so it focuses solely on enhancing fit and support where it's needed most.
How wide is the fit?
Our cleat position was designed according to the latest scientific studies and in collaboration with renowned bike fitters. Our shoes allow the cleat centre to be positioned both on the metatarsophalangeal joint and in our recommended position behind it. By positioning the cleat 10-20mm further back, the pressure is distributed more evenly over the whole foot. This offers an increase in comfort and helps to prevent injuries. By using fixed mounting points instead of slots, we can guarantee the lowest possible stack height.
Can the Atop dials be replaced?
Our Carbon Atop Dials are designed and tested for durability to withstand everyday use. In the unlikely event of a malfunction within the first year, we will send you a replacement free of charge. For damage due to crashes or external impacts, spare parts can be easily ordered, ensuring you're back cycling as soon as possible.

Find the perfect Size
To find your right size, we recommend measuring your feet with these simple steps. First, place a sheet of paper flush against a wall and step on it with your heel touching the wall. Mark the longest and widest points of your foot, making sure to keep the pencil straight. Repeat the process for your other foot. Next, measure the distances between your marks in millimeters. You may find that one foot is longer than the other, which is quite common. In this case select the larger size. Our size chart accounts for toe room with a built-in allowance of approximately 5mm, so there is no need to add extra length.
